Mr. Hartman attended Emory University, the Candler School of Theology, and the Emory School of Law, and continues to contribute to the Emory community, as a benefactor and patron. He serves as an elder of the Presbyterian Church (USA), board member of the Georgia Lawyers for the Arts, and co-chair of the Child Development Association. With strong ties to the surrounding community, Mr. Hartman counts among his clients several Emory faculty, staff and students, as well as school teachers, business owners, and medical professionals.
Mr. Hartman has a strong focus on estate planning and estate and trust administration, but is also skilled in navigating the overlap with family and real estate law. Whether it be planning and documenting asset distribution during the estate planning process, or assisting with the execution of an estate plan following a death, Mr. Hartman handles each case with sensitivity, efficiency, and effectiveness.
Mr. Hartman is the proud father of twins and the owner of a rescue dog. He enjoys the opportunity to help his community by expanding his breadth of knowledge and deepening his commitment to the law.
Doug Lambert has been with Hartman Private Law, LLC since 2007. First joining as a legal intern in his first year of law school, he became an associate attorney in 2011 upon graduation from Emory Law. Doug also holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics from Emory University.
